Chris Winkler showed up at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in California to test the Viper SRT10 ACR. After a few trips around the track, Winkler posted a 1m 33.915s lap time that not only beats the Devon GTX Super cars times but also set the unofficial production car lap record for the famed circuit.
After Chrysler got wind of the record, the following status update appeared on the Chrysler Twitter page:
To honor Viper’s record-breaking lap at Laguna Seca, Dodge will rollout a Laguna Seca Special Edition Viper
