Episode six of the Corvette Racing Track to Street series is a recap of what went down at the 24 Hours of Le Mans last month. 2010 marked the 50th anniversary or the automakers first appearance at the French endurance race and a parade of 50 ‘Vettes took to the track prior to the race.

The first French appearance of the works Corvettes in the GT2 class started off well, with the cars starting first and second in class after the Risi Ferrari F430 time was disallowed due to a rear wing infraction.

The Corvettes ran strong for the first 16 hours before both eventually succumbed to engine failures. Team manager Doug Fehan promises the C6.Rs will return next year with a win. …click here to read more

We give you 24 HOURS IN 19500 FRAMES, a very cool video by Tim Hahne He was in the thick of all the action at this year’s 24 Hours of Nürburgring race.

Shot with a Canon 5D MKII, the video delivers one of the best filmaking experiences we have seen, from every details captured, to the angles, close-up images, the music and the light, the video can certainly serve as a reference for those of us interested in filmography. The video was produced by by Tim and Nick Hahne of Stereoscreen.de, a production company based in Duisburg. …click here to read more

Lets be honest, the first part of this video is a little cheesy. Fast forward to 1:41 and you will see a purpose built time Attack NSX built by FX Motorsports Development (FXMD). Mikey Angel of FXMD takes us on a short tour of what has gone into building the NSX.

Was it boredom? Or an attempt to see how dynamic the NSX can be? The teams goal here was to see what the car could do in a straight line even though that it was built for grip racing around twist and turns. …click here to read more

It hasn’t been that long ago that Ford was manufacturing a genuine supercar, one that made no excuses as it took on the world’s best. The Ford GT had one foot in the past with the other in the present, with its ’60s GT40 good looks and somewhat more modern 5.4-liter supercharged V8. Sadly only 4,000 or so GTs were built during its production run that ended in 2006. Still, the GT lives on as a great platform for tuning and competition racing. …click here to read more
