It hasn’t been that long ago that Ford was manufacturing a genuine supercar, one that made no excuses as it took on the world’s best. The Ford GT had one foot in the past with the other in the present, with its ’60s GT40 good looks and somewhat more modern 5.4-liter supercharged V8. World championship drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr. has introduced a new generation of Mustang to the world with the Mustang RTR today at the 2009 SEMA Show. The Mustang RTR will be a dealer-installed performance and appearance package available at select dealers in coming in 2010. The packages will come with an assortment of hand picked parts from JR & Ford along with becoming a part of the exclusive RTR registry.
