2010 Buick LaCrosse revealed

The all new LaCrosse had originally been planned for a debut at the 2008 LA Auto Show, but that was pushed back due to cash shortfalls at the end of the year as GM pulled out of the show entirely. GM confirmed that the new LaCrosse will debut at the upcoming LA Auto Show this November with the release of this teaser photo. We will bring you coverage for the reveal, as this smallest of Buick sedans will be a key player in the brand’s future success. Since buyers are moving away from big CUVs into smaller vehicles at the moment, and Buick is keeping its fingers crossed that they’ll transition into the new LaCrosse.

Six decades after the communist revolution, China has become the hottest capitalist engine on earth. And ironically, some of the most revered symbols of success in today’s China are Buick, Cadillac, and Chevrolet.

General Motors may be struggling here in the United Statesat home, but it is thriving in China. In 2007, GM sold nearly twice as many Buicks in China as it did in the United States — more than 330,000.
