Talk show host and Comedian Jay Leno was sued over his purchase of a 1931 Duesenberg luxury roadster valued by its owner at $1.7 million at an auction allegedly set up while the elderly plaintiff was suffering from dementia.

Leno paid $180,000 to the Manhattan garage, which allegedly claimed the now-deceased owner failed to pay his bill and also sold his 1930 Rolls Royce, according to a complaint filed Oct. 14 in New York State Supreme Court in Manhattan. Wendy Lubin, daughter of late Macy’s executive John Straus, sued Leno, 58, his company Big Dog Productions Inc., and the Upper East Side Windsor Garage where Straus parked the cars for more than 50 years, according to the complaint. …click here to read more

The DBS you see here was destroyed in early April, when the driver – an Aston Martin engineer - lost control of the car during a torrential race storm. The Aston smashed through the barriers and sank to the bottom of Lake Garda, with the driver unconscious inside. He regained consciousness when the car hit the bottom of the lake, and swam 150 feet to the surface with only minor injuries.

The DBS that was used for the upcoming Bond film Quantum of Solace has been bought by a collector for £200,000.

With over 1000 Horsepower after its twin turbo upgrade, a top speed of 235.4mph that it can reach in less than 2 miles of straight road, this is one very special 2005 Ford GT that has been given the full treatment at Hennessey Performance Engineering.

1000 horsepower and 865 foot-pounds of torque deffinatly doesn’t come cheap. Chalk this up as a rare find, especially finding GT40 on Ebay. The Hennessey Ford GT1000 features twin Garrett turbochargers, fully built engine, custom exhaust, and alot time on the Dyno. This isn’t just a car with a ridiculous amount of power, the suspension has also been upgraged using Penske (as in Roger Penske) adjustable coilovers making this a well balanced machine. …click here to read more

Bugatti will hold the world premiere of the new Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport at the 2008 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 16th, 2008. So far Bugatti has released minimal details and two pictures of the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport - roadster with a removable roof (targa-top).

On August 17th, the highest bidder will have the opportunity to win a trip to the Molsheim/Alsace factory and customize their own Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Roadster.

More details will be available at the launch of the car, but so far we know it’s going to be less powerful at 990-hp with a top speed limited to 217mph. Bugatti will kick off production in early 2009 building only 80 units.

The Bugatti Veyron is among the most exclusive cars in the world, a 1,000-horsepower super exotic owned by fewer than 150 people. Every one of them is about to be upstaged by the drop-dead gorgeous roadster Bugatti will unveil later this month at the Pebble Beach Concours. …click here to read more
