f you’re in the market for a new GT-R in Japan, and you don’t already have an order in, we have got some bad news for you.
Nissan of Japan has reportedly put Nissan GT-R production on hold for reasons unknown at the moment. Without knowing what exactly is going on, there is no way of telling when the new GT-R will be put in the hands of their owners. The announcement has been made in the “corporate/dealership ranks” with no official word to as what is going on.
The new GT-R features a twin turbo V6 and all wheel drive; total horsepower is rated at 480 bhp. The Nissan GT-R is produced in Tochigi Japan. The official launch of the GT-R in the United States was July 7, 2008.
