More than 100 stolen luxury cars have been intercepted at Algeciras Port in Andalucía, Southern Spain.

The Algeciras Port is commonly used by travelers crossing the Strait back to Africa.

101 luxury cars have been intercepted by the authorities in Algeciras since the start of the ‘Operación Returno’ on June 15 as thousands of Africans make their way home for the summer break. Read the rest of this story at our luxury site: ExoticExcess.com

Honda thinks that the zebra-pattern camouflage we saw at Germany’s Nürburgring in June will disguise the new look of its V10-powered Acura NSX replacement. But our sources in Japan, using some insider hints, have disrobed Honda’s flagship sports car more than two years ahead of its unveiling.

Given what we see in these renderings, the grand tourer is neat but not gorgeous, and follows the 2007 Detroit Auto Show concept car’s lines closer than first thought. And that’s a shame, because the two-seater Acura’s expected price tag of $160,000 will place it right on top of much prettier rivals in the Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Maserati Gran Turismo and Jaguar XKR.

Like the Nissan GT-R, the new Acura V10 has left inspired styling behind and instead has opted for a more practical aerodynamic exterior. The car’s upslanting keyhole-shaped headlights and narrow grille seem somewhat ordinary sitting above a huge gaping airdam and ducts to channel gulps of cool air to the engine and brakes. …click here to read more

The guys over at Jaguarmania are reporting some news that should spark hope in the hearts of fans: Ratan Tata, current owner of the brand, has announced that the company is studying a return to competition, in grand style, with an LMP2 prototype that could race in the classic Le Mans 24 hours. It was on French soil that Jaguar last won a victory, in 1990, with the XJR12.

Porsche has won the Transsyberia Rally for the third time in succession. After its double victory in 2006 and triple victory in 2007, the Porsche Cayenne S Transsyberia has now secured the first six positions. Of the top ten vehicles, nine were Porsche. A clear overall win went to Team France with Christian Lavieille and Francois Borsotto, who put in constantly fast times and made no mistakes. After clocking up more than 7,000 kilometres the duo held a two hour advantage over the second place-getter.

At the finish in Ulaanbaatar, Christian Lavieille beamed: “We are so happy to have won such an extremely tough rally. Right from the start the Transsyberia ran so well for us that we could ease back the pace over the last three days. We didn’t drive flat-out today as we had built up over an hour’s gap to our closest opponent. I’m amazed what our Cayenne withstood over the last 7,000 kilometres. When you think of it, apart from a few minor modifications, it’s a standard vehicle. Over the entire distance we only had to change the shock absorbers once. When I compare that to other rally vehicles it’s almost unbelievable.” …click here to read more
